September 26-27, 2026 at Muscle + Mindset in Denver, CO.
Welcome to The Iron Trials: The Ultimate Test of Strength
Two days. Five lifts. One title.
The Iron Trials is a premier "Supertotal" weekend designed for those who refuse to choose between barbell sports. Whether you are a specialist looking to dominate a single discipline or a dual-threat athlete chasing the Supertotal crown, this is your weekend to prove what you're made of.
The Events
The weekend is split into two sanctioned meets. You may register for either event individually, or take the leap and opt-in for both to compete for the Iron Trials Supertotal title.
USA Weightlifting Sanctioned Meet 9/26: Show off your speed, timing, and power in the Snatch and Clean & Jerk.
USA Powerlifting Sanctioned Meet 9/27: Grunt through the ultimate tests of raw strength in the Squat, Bench Press, and Deadlift.
Note: All lifts will be conducted under official USAW and USAPL rules. Valid memberships for the respective lifting organizations are required for sanctioned participation. Unsanctioned participation will NOT be permitted in these events.
Prizes & Podium
We are celebrating excellence across every division. Medals and awards will be presented for:
Divisional Medals: Gold, Silver, and Bronze awarded for each Age and Weight Class in both Weightlifting and Powerlifting.
The Iron Trials Supertotal Champions: Special "Best Lifter" prizes will be awarded to the top two overall male and female athletes with the highest combined Supertotal scores, determined by the sum of Sinclair and DOTS formulae.
To be eligible for the Supertotal prizes, athletes must be registered for and compete in both sanctioned meets.
Registration will be capped at 60 athletes per event.
